International Student Recruitment

The Solution for Recruiting the World

American Colleges & Universities magazine (AC&U) reaches over 200,000 students in 175 countries, making it the most widely used source of information for international students looking to study in the United States. Accredited public and private colleges and universities may participate in AC&U.

The magazine is delivered to 2,300 international locations through our network of secondary, Department of Defense, and International Baccalaureate schools; advising centers; agencies; libraries; and embassies. Participation also includes a customized online profile on ACUInfo.com, part of our CollegeXpress network of sites. Students can request information from your profile and have one-click access to your own site and online application.

AC&U is published in partnership with the Council of Independent Schools (CIS), and we encourage all particpants to be CIS members. Visit www.cois.org for membership information and an application.

Enhancement Services

Custom Response Service

Now available for your international student inquiries, the Custom Response Service (CRS) allows for shortened response time to an inquiry. Not to mention, repeated exposure when interest is strongest helps brand your school as an appropriate educational option.

How it Works

The day after a student requests information for your institution through our websites, e-mail, or magazines, a customized response will arrive in their e-mail inbox. The response includes your school's logo and name with a customized message. It appears to the student as a personal message from you.

Reprints

Take your AC&U profiles with you! Attactive, lightweight, and cost effective, in two-page or four-page formats, reprints can be tailored to your specifications. Suggested uses include direct mail, international college fairs, school visits, student outreach, and more. Also available in foreign languages.
