The Accounting Assistant will keep financial records, prepare reports, update financial information, and provide administrative support for the Finance and HR team. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and Human Resources, the Accounting Assistant must be familiar with accounting procedures and should have experience with accounting software programs. The ideal candidate will be able to process business transactions and handle accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, receipts, and other financial matters. Proposal Development / Sales Specialist

The Proposal Development / Sales Specialist works with the sales and senior staff of Carnegie Dartlet to write professional and compelling content and develop custom proposals used to secure new and existing client business. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the discovery and investigation of new business opportunities, such as RFPs, along with existing RFP team members and building a highly customized and competitive presentation of Carnegie Dartlet products and services with various professional design and business software. The successful candidate will develop a keen knowledge of the company’s products and services and be able to customize the proposal scope with excellence

This position reports first to the EVP, Client Solutions and Strategy and also works in concert with Regional Directors, Executive team, the RFP team members, and other colleagues. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management of active proposals and contracts, both for scope extension work with existing accounts and in response to RFPs and inquiries from new accounts. The Proposal Development / Sales Specialist will liaise between inquiring client prospects, procurement officers, all Carnegie Dartlet sales personnel and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of communications and presentations pertaining to Carnegie Dartlet offerings.

Our ideal candidate is able to identify prospective client needs and propose solutions that meet client expectations through exceptional writing and sales skills. This person should be able to contribute confidently to scope development and the corresponding contractual language as well as feel comfortable utilizing design and presentation software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office products. Ultimately, a successful Proposal Development / Sales Specialist will collaborate with our sales team to achieve sales quotas and grow our business through a sales mindset. This role is largely part of the “glue” that coordinates and unifies the sales proposal experience to the client externally while connecting it to the key relational contacts internally.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the proposal development staff at Carnegie Dartlet to ensure timely and professional proposal content development and response for RFP and active client proposals.
  • Operating as a lead point of contact for scoping and writing proposal content specific to Carnegie Dartlet business development needs.
  • Building and maintaining multiple proposal content templates and corresponding links.
  • Developing a strong, collaborative relationships with all internal personnel focused on sales.
  • Efficiently facilitate, manage expectations for, and coordinate scoping for all types of Carnegie Dartlet projects, including, but not limited to: digital marketing, lead generation, on-site and remote workshops, client audits, external perception research, message training, print and digital deliverables, videography, photography, social media, market and user testing.
  • Understanding the complexities of the entirety of services offered by the company and distilling those services into risk-free and accurate scoping documents.
  • Work with the RFP team to communicate clearly the progress of sales proposals and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, and ensure smooth transitions and consistent communication of active and converted pipeline.
  • Draft detailed and comprehensive scope for all projects by working both independently and also with regional directors, account management, execution teams and the EVP for Client Solutions and Strategy.

Marketing Technologist/Designer

We’re looking for someone to dive deep into our clients’ websites and marketing campaigns to help colleges and universities make more informed decisions related to their digital marketing campaigns and understanding their student journey. As a Marketing Technologist/Designer, you will join our growing inbound marketing team to execute marketing automation technology for our higher ed clients, and write and design customized web content in line with their digital marketing and recruitment goals. This role would also support Carnegie Dartlet’s in-house proprietary data insights tools in delivering that data to help schools understand their website traffic and maximize marketing ROI.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing marketing automation and customer platform technology for higher ed websites
  • Writing and designing personalized web content for our clients

As a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the creation, successful implementation, and ongoing optimization of digital display, PPC and social media campaign activities for our education clients. Account Manager, Digital Marketing

The Account Manager is the operational (non-sales role) link between our education clients and the entire Carnegie Dartlet Digital team (Paid Search Marketing, Social Media, Google Display Network, etc.). Along with their team, the Account Manager acts as both an advocate for the client and as a representative for Carnegie Dartlet.


  • Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and Carnegie Dartlet and ensuring that ongoing communication flows effectively
  • Managing/coordinating client projects; may take an active role in planning to completion
  • Driving the ongoing workflow and interdepartmental team communication 
  • Becoming an expert on the client’s institution by having a full understanding of their goals and objectives, audience, competitors, and position in the marketplace
  • Ensuring clients get maximum value from Carnegie Dartlet’s products and services
  • Managing, reviewing progress and delivering the client’s campaign results for selected accounts
  • Setting up and managing smaller campaigns and acting as the primary contact for those accounts
