Paid Social Media Specialist

Carnegie Dartlet is looking for a motivated full-time Paid Social Media Specialist to join our Digital Services division. This position is located in our office in Westford, Massachusetts.

As a Paid Social Media Specialist, you will be a key team member that works across all Digital Advertising teams to help manage the creation, successful implementation, and ongoing optimization of key social media campaign activities for our higher education clients. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will work closely with our entire Digital team to provide quality assurance across all major social advertising platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.).

You will also assist with troubleshooting campaign and platform issues; write, review, and edit ad copy; implement optimizations of campaigns; and provide analysis of campaign performance metrics. You will play a vital role in supporting a Digital Advertising team that prides itself on developing innovative social media strategies for our higher education clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple social media advertising campaigns for key clients
  • Assist with campaign strategy development
  • Optimize, research, and report on social campaigns on a regular basis
  • Contribute to Carnegie Dartlet’s blog and webinar series
  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices with an understanding of how they can be applied to campaigns
  • Work on special projects as needed to support the Digital team
  • Be a team player who enjoys a fun, fast-paced environment!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2–3 years of demonstrable success in running social media advertising campaigns, including hands-on experience with copywriting, ad creation, and management of ongoing campaigns through paid platforms (Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.)
  • Solid social media data analysis experience, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on data
  • Basic understanding of how social media platforms perform organically in addition to paid capabilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills a must
  • Knowledge and/or interest in the higher education space a plus
  • Interest in new technologies and the desire to expand skill sets
  • Energy and enthusiasm for the success of our clients
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and work across multiple teams and skill levels with a positive attitude
