Westford, Mass., October 2, 2012 – Alloy Education, the leader in integrated marketing and enrollment solutions for education, will formally announce this week that its name will change to Carnegie Communications. The announcement will be made at the National Association for College Admission Counseling conference in Denver. The company plans to continue to offer its range of recruitment, lead-generation, and digital-online solutions for educational institutions.

Since the launch of its flagship publication Private Colleges & Universities magazine in 1985, and prior to becoming part of Alloy, Inc., Carnegie has been at the forefront in developing response-driven communication, recruitment solutions, and marketing services for colleges and universities. Other Carnegie divisions, Wintergreen Orchard House and Porter Sargent Handbooks, provide educational materials for students from kindergarten through college and for college counselors. Twenty-seven years of experience in education marketing has positioned Carnegie as the leader in integrating traditional and digital media.

“The ways our clients need to reach and engage students is getting more complex and evolving every day,” said Joe Moore, Carnegie’s President and CEO. “Venturing into online, mobile, and social media marketing can be a tricky path to navigate. Carnegie is in a unique position to marry traditional recruitment services with the latest in online strategies. We are privileged to partner with so many colleges and schools in helping them meet their recruitment goals. At the same time, we are proud to say that in the three decades that we’ve served the education market, we’ve assisted millions of students in selecting their colleges through our publications and websites.”

The company recently re-launched its corporate website, CarnegieComm.com, and will be hosting its annual Carnegie Conference at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on January 24-25, 2013. Registration is now open on the company website for a reduced rate until November 2, 2012.
